Location: Lancashire Overview: A well-established food manufacturer is looking for a proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to support the delivery of Health, Safety & Environmental standards across their manufacturing site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further develop their Health & Safety career within a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment. Working closely with the Health, Safety & Environment Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance, supporting audits, delivering training and driving a positive safety culture across the site. This is a varied, hands-on role with excellent exposure across all areas of the business. About You: • Previous experience working within a Health & Safety role within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar manufacturing environment • NEBOSH General Certificate (or currently working towards) • Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, Risk Assessments, COSHH, Fire Safety and Manual Handling requirements • Experience supporting Health & Safety audits, investigations, training and compliance activities • A proactive and organised Health & Safety Coordinator with excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with colleagues across all levels of the business What will you be doing? • Supporting the Health, Safety & Environment Manager with the day-to-day coordination of Health & Safety activities across the manufacturing site • Maintaining Health & Safety documentation, assisting with Risk Assessments and ensuring compliance with current legislation and company procedures • Carrying out Health & Safety audits, monitoring incidents and near misses, and supporting investigations and corrective actions • Supporting Health & Safety inductions, delivering training and promoting a positive safety culture throughout the business • As Health & Safety Coordinator , you will be assisting with ISO 45001 activities, continuous improvement projects and ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained across site What can they offer you? • The opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected food manufacturer • A varied role with excellent exposure across all areas of the manufacturing operation • Ongoing support and development within a collaborative Health & Safety team • The opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help shape a positive safety culture • Plus other company benefits
