Job Information

Location: West Midlands – Hybrid working
Overview: Are you a commercially astute account manager with experience in retail, wholesale or foodservice channels? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager to join a market leader, values-led food manufacturer and play a key role in managing and developing national accounts.

About You:

Broad FMCG food sales experience — ideally managing multiple retail accounts
As the National Account Manager, you will be confident in building and driving relationships to get the best from all customers
Excellent commercial awareness and ability to influence stakeholders
Positive, hands-on approach with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
A driven, self-starting team player with a passion for ethical and sustainable food

What will you be doing?

Managing an existing portfolio of national accounts across retail, wholesale or manufacturing channels
Building and delivering account plans to meet company sales and profit targets
The National Account Manager will be leading commercial negotiations including terms, pricing and promotions
Supporting joint business planning and customer relationship development
Delivering monthly forecasting and participating in exhibitions and events

About You:

You will have previous experience of brand management/marketing within FMCG – ideally with a top 4 grocer

What will you be doing?

The Brand Manager will manage PR strategy (engaging trade & consumer content, viral brand activation & influencer campaigns)
Develops best in class retail brand activation to drive brand conversion (online & instore)
Lead CSR agenda for brand identifying future opportunities to engage with consumers
Lead annual brand planning process to research suitable territories bringing market leading NPD launch plans
