Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Interim Specifications Technologist, who will be responsible for the completion of all specifications both customer and internal. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Produce and manage detailed internal finished product specifications and customer specifications in the format dedicated by the customer.
•    Understand each retailers’ requirements and advise site accordingly of any gaps.
•    Validation of all product labels to ensure they accurately reflect specifications and comply with labelling regulations and legal requirements. 
•    Gap analysis of all current raw material specifications for internal use ensuring that regular updates of specifications are obtained and approved. 

Requirements:
•    Previous experience of working with retailer specifications is essential. 
•    Good knowledge & understanding of retailer standards & food labelling legislation.
•    Proven experience as a Specifications Technologist or a similar role within the food industry.  

The Offering:
Day Rate, dependant on experience, plus expenses.
