Overview: Our food manufacturing client is seeking an Interim Process Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and with a passion for turning innovative ideas into successful product launches.

The Candidate:
•    Food related qualifications and/or several years' experience in a food Manufacturing environment.
•    Attention to detail, problem solving skills and excellent presentation, communication and engagement skills.
•    A comprehensive understanding of key food safety principles, including HACCP.
•    Demonstrate long-term planning capabilities, organisation, influencing and negotiation skills.

The Role:
•    Support the NPD team on trials and capture key metrics.
•    Manage and review product costings and ensure that trial budgets are managed within budget.
•    Drive innovation and creativity to ensure products are recognised as best products in class.
•    Consistently identify efficiencies and yield improvements.
•    Develop and manage internal documentation and templates for all processes.
•    Drive initiatives to enhance product quality, meeting and exceeding industry standards.
•    Strengthen relationships with cross-functional teams and external customers.

The Offering:
Day Rate, dependant on experience, plus expenses.

Location: United Kingdom Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Interim Specifications Technologist, who will be responsible for the completion of all specifications both customer and internal. Key Responsibilities: • Produce and manage detailed internal finished product specifications and customer specifications in the format dedicated by the customer. • Understand each retailers’ requirements and advise site accordingly of any gaps. • Validation of all product labels to ensure they accurately reflect specifications and comply with labelling regulations and legal requirements. • Gap analysis of all current raw material specifications for internal use ensuring that regular updates of specifications are obtained and approved. Requirements: • Previous experience of working with retailer specifications is essential. • Good knowledge & understanding of retailer standards & food labelling legislation. • Proven experience as a Specifications Technologist or a similar role within the food industry.
