Having spent many, many fun-filled years in the Hospitality industry, I moved into the wonderful world of Recruitment over 25 years ago. My experience is varied, including Agency, In-House and Executive Search. I have had the good fortune to work with a large number of phenomenal managers, directors and colleagues – you all know who you are!
Sector wise, whilst I have specialised throughout my career, I would consider myself more of a generalist, able to turn my hand to multiple industries – including Food & Drink, Fire & Security, HVAC, Engineering, Commercial, Hospitality and Rec2Rec.
When I am not working, I enjoy yoga, which I have been practising for over 15 years; walking (my local reservoir is my happy place), but I’m never as happy walking somewhere along the Gower Peninsula, where my Welsh roots are still firmly engrained. I have even started enjoying the gym a couple of times a week (never thought I would ever say that!). I adore dining out or dining in with friends and have a genuine love of socialising with great food and even greater wine!
I have been fortunate enough to travel to a few far-flung places, including Thailand, Egypt, Machu Picchu and last year accomplished walking to Annapurna base camp at 4,200m in Nepal. Still a bit of an adventurer, I have been quad biking, abseiling, rafting, clay pigeon shooting, segwaying – and who knows what is next!
