Operations & Engineering Manager.

Overview: An established food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Operations & Engineering Manager to lead site operations and engineering performance within a high-volume manufacturing environment. 
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, operations professional who thrives on the shop floor and is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing.

About You:
•    As the Operations and Engineering Manager, you will have proven management experience within food, drink or FMCG manufacturing.
•    Demonstrated experience managing budgets, delivering cost reductions, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
•    The Operations Manager will be a practical, site-based leader with a strong floor presence and the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
•    Degree in Engineering or strong expertise in managing both operations and engineering teams. 

What will you be doing?
•    As the Operations & Engineering Manager, you will report to the Factory General Manager, providing clear weekly and monthly KPI reporting on performance, cost, safety, and compliance
•    Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of engineers and operational leaders, building a strong culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
•    Owning delivery of the agreed production plan, ensuring targets are achieved within budget and to required quality, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
•    The Engineering Manager will be acting as a site ambassador for Health & Safety, ensuring full regulatory compliance and that all equipment and activities are carried out safely and efficiently
