Senior Engineering Manager.

Overview: Saputo Inc is one of the top 10 dairy processors in the world employing over 19,000 people and the UK division is home to some of the UK’s most loved dairy brands including Cathedral City, Clover, Country Life, and Vitalite. 

Reporting into the Site Director, they are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager who will work closely with site leadership and support the Site Director in their day-to-day and strategic delivery of site business objectives.

What will you be doing?
•    As Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, organisation, control, CAPEX projects, and development of the engineering team.
•    You will ensure the continuous development of the skills and capabilities of the engineering department to support the delivery of long-term goals.
•    You will lead, mentor and inspire the engineering team, providing guidance, support and professional development opportunities.
•    You will manage and coordinate others to deliver daily site activities, including planning, scheduling, and execution.  
•    The Senior Engineering Manager will drive a positive safety culture within the engineering department and its customers.

About You…
•    Possess recent prior experience with senior management responsibilities within a large-scale process-based company, preferably food or FMCG.
•    Demonstrate your leadership skills in high-pressure moments and your experience as a people manager, with a track record of effectively communicating and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
•    Able to demonstrate strong H&S, food safety, GMP and environmental knowledge. NEBOSH is desirable, although not a prerequisite.
•    Capable of effective project management, meeting financial and time-related deadlines.  
•    It is essential that you enjoy building relationships across all levels of the business - from senior leadership to the factory floor - and see the value in being hands-on and visible.
•    As Senior Engineering Manager, you must be highly IT literate, with strong budgetary control skills.
